Summer Reading Program

We had a record-breaking kick-off to the Summer Reading Program! 265 people attended, 114 children sign-up for the SRP, 16 Teens signed up for the Teen SRP. Thanks to all the volunteers and organizations that joined us to celebrate summer reading. Thanks also to The Byrne Foundation, The Cogswell Benevolent Trust, the New Hampshire Library Association, and the New Hampshire State Library for sponsoring Reptiles on the Move.

There is still time to sign-up for the Summer Reading Program! Registration is open through July 9. When your children sign up they will receive a special SRP reading log, bookmarks, book-bag and other SRP items. As you log books you read you will be eligible for weekly prizes, so don’t miss the cut-off date!

The Third Graders are Coming!

The Children’s Room Staff is looking forward to visits from each of the Valley View Third Grade Classes in early June. This is a wonderful opportunity for Third Graders to get their own library cards and explore all the wonderful things to do at their local library.
