Summer Reading Program...

One World, Many Stories

There is still time to sign-up for the Summer Reading Program! Registration is open through July 9. When your children sign up they will receive a special SRP reading log, bookmarks, book-bag and other SRP items. As you log books you read you will be eligible for weekly prizes, so don’t miss the cut-off date!

The 2011 Summer Reading Program’s theme is One World, Many Stories and we are planning to highlight many countries and their legends and stories including various ways of telling stories through art and music. We started with Asia on June 27. Over the summer we will be exploring Hawaii beginning the week of July 5th (the library is closed the 4th), followed by Africa; the week July 11, South America; the week of July 18, and a personal favorite, Scotland; the week of July 25.
